You Could Do Anything!

Jesus answered, "How unbelieving and wrong you people are! How long must I stay with you? How long do I have to put up with you? Bring the boy here to me!" Jesus gave a command to the demon, and it went out of the boy, and at that very moment he was healed. Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked him, "Why couldn’t we drive the demon out?" "It was because you do not have enough faith," answered Jesus. "I assure you that if you have faith as big as a mustard seed, you can say to this hill, ‘Go from here to there!’ and it will go. You could do anything!"

Matthew 17:17-21

The jailer called for a light, rushed in, and fell trembling at the feet of Paul and Silas. Then he led them out and asked, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" They answered, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved – you and your family." Then they preached the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in the house. At that very hour of the night the jailer took them and washed their wounds; and he and all his family were baptized at once.

Acts 16:29-33

No matter how small and insufficient we think our faith is, let’s keep on praying. Remember, it is the object of our faith – Our Almighty God – not the size of our faith that is all-important. The longer we live the more we realize that life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we respond.

Faith must focus on God, not on itself.

If you keep in tune with Christ, you can sing even when all is dark.
