Use Your Bodies For God’s Glory

Avoid immorality. Any other sin a man commits does not affect his body; but the man who is guilty of sexual immorality sins against his own body. Don’t you know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and who was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourselves but to God; he bought you for a price. So use your bodies for God’s glory.

1 Corinthians 6:18-20

All of us are slaves to sin and spiritually dead – unless we have been born again. We can be set free from the penalty and power of sin. We experience spiritual freedom as we accept His gift of forgiveness and then offer ourselves as slaves to God.

What a blessing we receive. We are God’s slaves and as such we enjoy a life of true freedom, peace, and hope.

We can be athletes. We can be dancers. We can be brain surgeons. All we have to realize is that God made us this way for a reason. We have been given gifts. The question is how we use those gifts to His Glory.

To gain true freedom, give your life to Christ.
