Humble Yourselves

So then, submit yourselves to God. Resist the Devil, and he will run away from you. Come near to God, and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners! Purify your hearts, you hypocrites! James 4:7-10

When we pray to God, understand and accept that it is good to tell Him that you want Him to take your weak prayer and answer it in His way. Too often we pray for God to meet our needs, without praying that we meet His needs. Trust Him to give us exactly what we need. Understand that may not be what we want. You can be sure that what God sends us will be far better than what we pray for on our own selfish behalf.

God’s answers are always wiser than our prayers.
