Attitude Is The Key

The man who is being taught the Christian message should share all the good things he has with his teacher. Do not deceive yourselves; no one makes a fool of God. A person will reap exactly what he plants. If he plants in the field of his natural desires, from it he will gather the harvest of death; if he plants in the field of the Spirit, from the Spirit he will gather the harvest of eternal life. So let us not become tired of doing good; for if we do not give up, the time will come when we will reap the harvest. So then, as often as we have the chance, we should do good to everyone, and especially to those who belong to our family in the faith.

Galatians 6:6-10

The difference between success and failure is attitude. John White in The Fight says, "It is the man or woman who gets up and fights again that is the true warrior. Strengthen yourself with a powerful draught of the wine of Romans 8:1-4. Then get back into the fight before your muscles get stiff!"

What is required is dogged endurance, keeping at the task of obedience through the ebbs and flows, ups and downs, victories and losses in life. It is trying again, while knowing that God is working in you to accomplish His purposes. It is persistently pursuing God's will for your life till you stand before Him, and your work is done. God is wonderfully persistent too. He will never, never, never give up on you!

Perseverance can tip the scales from failure to success.
