We Have Seen And Heard

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of life. The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us. We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. We write this to make our joy complete.

1 John 1:1-4

The Spirit can use most any words to convict people, so they will want to come to Him. You may not remember the verse or the person’s name. Just know the Spirit will use those words to bring others to Him.

Sometimes those words come from us. We were put on earth to bring glory to God in our words and actions. Do not be ashamed of your faith. Open your heart to others and let them know that you have seen and heard.

There is nothing magical in putting words on a page. But there is life changing power in the words of the Scripture because they point us to the Word of life – Jesus.

Word that point us to Christ are always words that matter.
