Serve
The Lord With Gladness
Make a joyful shout to
the Lord, all you lands!
Serve the Lord with
gladness; come before His presence with singing.
Know that the Lord, He is
God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the
sheep of His pasture.
Enter into His gates with
thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. be
thankful to Him, and bless His name.
For the Lord is good; His
mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations.
Psalm
100: 1-5
We should be struck with
wonder and worship. Our Lord was crucified in full public view, and He took it
all for us.
He made us. We should be
glad, joyful, and thankful for the fact that He made each one of us. As we
remember who we are, we can respond with thanksgiving. For even in the worst of
times, we can remember Christ’s love and sacrifice for us.
Don’t let the brutality
of the world take away your thankful heart. Remember you are God’s child, and
He has shown you His goodness and mercy through His work on the cross.
Praise
comes naturally when you count your blessings.
