He
Has Removed
Our
Transgressions From Us
He
made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the people of Israel:
The
Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.
He
will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; he does not treat
us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.
For
as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who
fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our
transgressions from us.
As
a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those
who fear him;
Psalm 103:7-13
Have
you ever been on the final flight home with the kids, and it gets delayed. The
kids are running everywhere, they are hungry, they
want to go to the bathroom. And then they get on the plane. Are you one of
those fathers who says, “Why don’t you let me read one of your story books to
you?”
God
is like that Father. He is always soothing us, He is always taking care of us.
God
longs for us to listen to the story of His love for us when we are restless on
our own journey through life. Our heavenly Father is always near, ready to
encourage us with His Word.
God’s great love for His child is one of His greatest
gifts.
