Remember
The Wonders He Has Done
That
day David first appointed Asaph and his associates to
give praise to the Lord in this manner:
Give
praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has
done.
Sing
to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts.
Glory
in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.
Look
to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.
Remember
the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced,
you his servants,
the descendants of Israel, his chosen ones, the children of Jacob.
1 Chronicles 16:7-13
When
someone passes, we want to tell their story. There is a yearning to know what
lies beyond, where our loved ones have gone. Those thoughts are poignant reminders
of our own. They are who we are. When someone passes we think about eternity.
The
stories of so many people we love are not yet ended, and the privileges to tell
them about the love of Jesus is a give most precious.
Let our days be filled with a longing, and the
opportunities,
to tell our story of Jesus.
