In
His Word I Put My Hope
Out
of the depths I cry to you, Lord; Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be
attentive to my cry for mercy.
If
you, Lord, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?
But
with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you.
I
wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.
I
wait for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen
wait for the morning.
Israel,
put your hope in the Lord, for with the Lord is unfailing love and with him is
full redemption.
He
himself will redeem Israel from all their sins.
Psalm 130:1-8
Don’t
wait too long to give your life to Jesus. You lose so many things in life, if
you do that. There is a peace and comfort knowing Jesus Christ. He promised us
the Spirit would be there to help us along the way, and the Spirit is always
there. God is always there. Jesus is always there. Why waist a life wondering
about those very important things that lead to eternity in heaven or damnation
in hell. Just remember God will always lead us to Him. It is us who take the
low road.
What
a privilege we have to fellowship with God in prayer and to wait for the answer
in the fullness of His time.
God may delay our request, but He will never
disappoint our trust.
