God Is Love

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

1 John 4:7-10

The power of love is great. The question is not how many people take you seriously. The question should be how much you will accomplish.

Are you in love with Jesus? In our world of loneliness and despair, there is an enormous need for men and women who know the heart of God, a heart that forgives, that cares, and reaches out and wants to heal.

John wrote about this love. He noted, “In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.

God’s love in our heart gives us a heart for others.
