Give
Praise To The Lord
That day David first
appointed Asaph and his associates to give praise to
the Lord in this manner: Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known
among the nations what he has done. Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of
all his wonderful acts. Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who
seek the Lord rejoice. Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.
Remember the wonders he
has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced, you his servants, the
descendants of Israel, his chosen ones, the children of Jacob.

Chronicles 16:7-13
Think about the first
time you really needed something, and you did not know how you were going to
get it. Then, something happened, and what you needed was there. That’s the
special spirit God provides to us all. All we have to do,
is ask.
So it was that first
Christmas night, when a mighty, all-knowing, all-powerful God wrote His name on
the heart of humanity, stunning us with the generosity of forgiveness and the
joy of unconditional love. The birth of Christ is the answer to our most
fervent prayers for love and forgiveness. Can you feel the wonder?
A
wonder filled life is ours when we know the Christ of Christmas.
