Watch Over Your Life
I lift up my
eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot slip—he who watches over
you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over
The Lord watches over you— the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by
night.
The Lord will keep you from all harm — he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
Psalm 121:1-8
Think about what this says. Our help comes from the Lord, the One who created the universe.
The Lord watches over us and keeps us out of harms way.
The Lord watches our whole life from birth to death on this earth, and then for all eternity.
God knows the impending dangers we face and He directs our lives in a way that will bring glory to Him.
Because God never sleeps, we can be at peace.
