Treasures Of Wisdom and Knowledge

To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ. To this end I strenuously contend with all the energy Christ so powerfully works in me.

Colossians 1:27-29

I want you to know how hard I am contending for you and for those at Laodicea, and for all who have not met me personally. My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Colossians 2:1-3

There are all kinds of treasure hunts that take place. We know what the true treasure is. God knows us, and He will take care of us. He gave us a way to enjoy the treasure of eternal life by our belief in His Son, Jesus Christ. But there is also hidden treasure, and all we have to do is read the Bible to find that treasure. The hidden treasure of knowing the Lord more completely is found in the Bible.

If we read the Word of God hurriedly or carelessly, we will miss its deep insights. These truths must be sought earnestly with all the attention of someone seeking hidden treasure.

If you are eager to find the hidden treasure, start digging.

The treasures of truth in God’s Word are best mined with the spade of meditation.
