The LORD Made The Heavens

That day David first appointed Asaph and his associates to give praise to the LORD in this manner:

Give praise to the LORD, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done. Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice.

1 Chronicles 16:7-10

Sing to the LORD, all the earth; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.

For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the LORD made the heavens.

1 Chronicles 16:23-26

Do not ever grow tired of thanking God for all He has done. He created the universe. He created our world. He created your ancestors, and He created you.

And besides His power, He is good, merciful, and holy.

Like David, we should never grow tired of giving thanks to God for who He is and for all He’s done for us. Take time today to offer your sacrifice of praise to Him.

The heart filled with praise brings pleasure to God.
