I Am Content

My heart is not proud, LORD, my eyes are not haughty; I do not concern myself with great matters or things too wonderful for me. But I have calmed and quieted myself, I am like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child I am content.

Israel, put your hope in the LORD both now and forevermore.

Psalm 131:1-3

When you let your mind rest, and you think about heaven, the universe, and God, what goes through your mind? Do you concern yourself about what might or might not happen the next day? Do you wonder what God has in store for you?

It is impossible to figure out what God has planned for us. Make the leap of faith that there is a plan, and you are part of God’s plan.

Sometimes we just need to be quiet and feel the comfort that God gives us, much like a warm blanket. Do not question God’s wisdom. Trust Him as He works His plan for your life.

In a world of mystery,

it is a comfort to know the God who knows all things.
