He Will Not Fall

The LORD makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand.

I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread. They are always generous and lend freely; their children will be a blessing.

Psalm 37:23-26

Are you holding on by your fingernails, or is He holding you in His hand? It is all a matter of trust.

When troubles come we will not be able to handle them, and we may even question our faith. The best thing to do is say a prayer and make the leap of faith that you are in His hands, and that He will take care of you.

If you are having trouble holding on to your faith, remember it is up to God to support you with His mighty hand.

In tough times we become so preoccupied with our role of “clinging to God” that we forget about his promised protection. It is not our fingernails that sustain us, it is His loving, upholding hand.

No one is more secure than the one who is held in God’s hand.
