“Like A Little Child”
People were also bringing babies to Jesus. They wanted him to
touch them. When the disciples saw this, they told the people to stop.
But
Jesus asked the children to come to him. "Let the little children come to
me," he said. "Don't keep them away. God's kingdom belongs to people
like them. What I'm about to tell you is true. Anyone who will not receive
God's kingdom like a little child will never enter it."
Luke 18:15-17
Take
time for children, either your own, your grandchildren. Take the time to make
balloon figures, do puppets, and help bring them to Christ.
Jesus
had a genuine concern for children. When people brought little ones to Him, the
disciples wanted to protect Jesus, a busy man, from the bothersome children.
But Jesus was not at all bothered by them. He wanted to bless them.
Be
an example for children with your attitude towards children.
Find ways to help bring them to Christ.
God has great concern for little children.
