Our goal should be to be quiet leaders. Let God take the glory
for what He has done in our lives. We should get the job done, but we should
always make sure we give Him the glory. He made us what we are today.
Your can achieve success without fanfare. John let Jesus take
the center. John was just there to point the way to Jesus. That is what we are
supposed to do with our lives as well.
Are we lifting Him up instead of seeking honor for ourselves?
Rather than being disappointed when our contribution goes unnoticed, we should
be glad because our highest privilege is to magnify the Lord. He is the hero,
and Honoring Him is the mark of greatness.
The Christian is one who is smart enough
to let God be great in his own life.
