He Heard My Voice

In my distress I called to the LORD; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears.

The earth trembled and quaked, and the foundations of the mountains shook; they trembled because he was angry.

Smoke rose from his nostrils; consuming fire came from his mouth, burning coals blazed out of it.

He parted the heavens and came down; dark clouds were under his feet.

He mounted the cherubim and flew; he soared on the wings of the wind.

He made darkness his covering, his canopy around him— the dark rain clouds of the sky.

Out of the brightness of his presence clouds advanced, with hailstones and bolts of lightning.

The LORD thundered from heaven; the voice of the Most High resounded.

Psalm 18:6-13

We all are aware of “crisis management” experts. We need them from time to time to get us out of whatever we have gotten in over our heads with.  In times of trouble, getting the best help is critical.

We have access to the best. As believers in Jesus Christ, the Spirit resides in us. God is with us, Jesus is with us, and our Spirit is there as well.

Some mountains are just too high to scale, some problems really are too big for us, but not for God.

We have His word that He will never leave us nor forsake us.

When crisis hits, we don’t have to stand alone. We have the right help. We can depend on God to be the greatest ally we could ever know. Lean on Him.

Our greatest hope here below is to get help form God above.
