“Who Has Known The Mind Of The LORD?”
O the depth of the riches
and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable
his ways!
“For
who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his
counselor?”
“Or who has given a gift
to him, to receive a gift in return?”
For from him and through
him and to him are all things. To him be the glory
forever. Amen.
Romans
11:33-36
Have you ever had a
mountain-top experience when it left you breathless and all you could think, was “Wow?”
God has that power over
us. He is all-wise. His perfect plan for salvation shows that He has far better
solutions to the problems of life than we are capable of devising. Second, God
is all-knowing. His knowledge is infinite. He needs no counselor and nothing
surprises Him! Third, God is all sufficient. No one can give to God what He has
not first given to them. Nor can anyone ever repay Him for His goodness.
In
God’s character and in His creation, we see His majesty.
