The Power Of God For Salvation
For I am not ashamed of
the gospel; it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who has faith, to
the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is
revealed through faith for faith; as it is written, “The one who is righteous
will live by faith.”
For
the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and wickedness
of those who by their wickedness suppress the truth. For
what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them.
Ever since the creation of the world his eternal power and divine nature,
invisible though they are, have been understood and seen through the things he
has made. So they are without excuse;

If you wanted to write
someone’s biography you would ask three questions: what does the person say
about himself, what do others say about that person,
and what that person has done.
The Bible has done all
three for God. It is His Book and the words are His Word. Second, the book
talks about relationships God has had with any number of ordinary, everyday
people, and some not so ordinary. Third, God created everything we know, see,
touch, feel, and hear. Accept it.
Get to know God through
the Bible. Be His biographer. It will teach you more about Him than you ever
thought possible.
The
God who created the universe is the God who you can know.
