“Become Like Children”

At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” He called a child, whom he put among them, and said, “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever becomes humble like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.”

Matthew 18:1-5

How is your faith in God? Is it simple and uncomplicated or have you broken the faith with your Father because it just seems to be too complicated? Many times we sin and we fear the consequences. Pray for forgiveness because you mean it, and you will be forgiven.

Children see through things. Adults make things too complicated. Strive for that childlike faith. Say “Thank You” to your Father in heaven for everything you have. He has followed your life since before you were conceived, and He will lead you into eternity.

Ask that you be given the faith of a child, and you will find the closeness you need. The key is to practice the simple and uncomplicated faith of a child.

Faith shines brightest

 on a childlike heart.
