Worship The LORD With Gladness

Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness; come into his presence with singing.

Know that the LORD is God. It is he that made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise. Give thanks to him, bless his name.

For the LORD is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.

Psalm 100:1-5

We belong to God our Maker.

Do you serve the LORD with gladness? The will of God is the gladdest, brightest and most bountiful thing possible to conceive. Yet some of us talk about the will of God with a sigh and suggest that the will of God might be the most terrible thing that could befall us. Nothing could be further from the truth. Trust in God every single day to provide for you. Don’t be a spiritual whiner. Don’t talk pathetically about suffering because of the will of God. God will not tempt you. He will never test you beyond your endurance. Everything is done so you can be close to Him. Ask, everyday, for God to show you his will. Ask for guidance. Ask for wisdom. And say Thank You for what He has given you, and will continue to give you.

True thankfulness is more than being grateful for what we possess. It is an attitude that permeates our relationship with the Lord so that we may serve Him with gladness and joy.

For the Christian, thanksgiving is not just a day but a way of life.
