We

Have Gifts

For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of yourself more highly than you ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned. For as in one body we have many members, and not all the members have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually we are members, one of another. We have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us: prophesy, in proportion to faith; ministry, in ministering; the teacher, in teaching; the exhorter, in exhortation; the giver, in generosity; the leader, in diligence; the compassionate, in cheerfulness.

Romans 12:3-8

We each have a reason for being on earth, and that is to glorify God. However, we each have a particular strength that God has given us. If we are smart we will use that gift to glorify God. Some of us think we are better in things that we are not, and some of us do not realize our true strengths. Focus on your strength, and use it to God’s glory.

Human beings are the crowning jewel of creation, and we shine the brightest not when we see our own likeness reflected in others but when each of us performs the unique functions that God designed us to do.

There are no unimportant members

 in the body of Christ.
