The Messiah

I am speaking the truth in Christ – I am not lying; my conscience confirms it by the Holy Spirit – I have great sorrow and unceasing anguish in my heart. For I could wish that I myself were accursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my own people, my kindred according to the flesh. They are Israelites, and to them belong the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the worship, and the promises; to them belong the patriarchs, and from them, according to the flesh, comes the Messiah, who is over all, God blessed forever. Amen.

Romans 9:1-5

We have all heard stories of specialized corps in the armed forces that work to get people out of concentration camps, even though those corps of people never met the ones in the concentration camps. They do it so others can live. Jesus did the same for us. He empowered His Disciples to help us. And in our everyday lives, we know that God sent Jesus and the Holy Spirit to help us. Jesus died to get us out of the concentration camp of sin.

People like you and me gave themselves for Christ. The apostle Paul gave up his life for Christ.

We should embrace the passion for the eternal souls of men and woman.

The cross reveals

God’s heart for the lost.
