I Will Keep Your Law Continually,
Forever And Ever
Let your steadfast love
come to me, O LORD, your salvation according to your promise. Then I shall have
an answer for those who taunt me, for I trust in your word. Do not take the
word of truth utterly out of my mouth, for my hope is in your ordinances. I will
keep your law continually, forever and ever. I shall walk at liberty, for I
have sought your precepts. I will also speak of your decrees before kings, and
shall not be put to shame; I find my delight in your commandments, because I
love them. I revere your commandments, which I love, and I will meditate on
your statutes.
Psalm
119:41-48
Has God ever spoken to
you? Has it changed the direction and focus of your life? The simple fact is
that God speaks to us, anytime we read His Word, which is the Bible. Do we
listen to Him as He speaks?
The psalmist wanted to
obey God’s Word “continually, forever and ever.”
How would you respond if
God began to speak to you on your radio? We can be thankful that God does speak
to us – not on the radio but in the Scriptures. May we be wise enough to listen
and obey.
In
God’s works we see His hand;
in His word we hear
His heart.
