I Can Do All Things Through Him
Who Strengthens Me
I rejoice in the Lord greatly that now
at last you have received your concern for me; indeed, you were concerned for

to have little, and I know what it is to have plenty. In any and all

of having plenty and of being in need. I can do all things through him who

The apostle Paul used metaphors of
training and competition in his letters. While he was a missionary to the
Gentiles, he submitted to the instructions and drills of God amid great
suffering. We are not spiritually mature the day we are saved, any more than a

more teachable we are, the more mature we will become. As members of Christ’s
team, we all need to be coachable.
God’s work in
us is not over when we receive Christ – it has just begun.
