Believe That What You Say

Will Come To Pass

In the morning as they passed by, they saw a fig tree withered away to its roots. Then Peter remembered and said to him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree that you cursed has withered.” Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. Truly I tell you, if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and if you do not doubt in your heart, but believe that what you say will come to pass, it will be done for you. So I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

“Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.”

Mark 11:20-26

How can we define faith? Hold on to the faithfulness of God, and know that as long as you do that, you cannot go wrong. Faith does not look at the difficulties. Faith is not about input, it is about outcomes. Be able to visualize what you want. But more importantly visualize that God will give you what you need. In His time He will give you exactly what you need to sustain yourself, even though it may not be what you originally thought you wanted.

The measure of a man’s strength, is ultimately the measure of his knowledge of God. He knows God so well that he can rest on the knowledge. And it is the prayers of this type of man that will be answered.

Life is not always fair, but God is always faithful.
