And There

 He Prayed

In the morning, while it was still very dark, he got up and went out to a deserted place, and there he prayed. And Simon and his companions hunted for him. When they found him, they said to him, “Everyone is searching for you.” He answered, “Let us go on to the neighboring towns, so that I may proclaim the message there also; for that is what I came out to do.” And he went throughout Galilee, proclaiming the message in their synagogues and casting out demons.

Mark 1:35-39

We all need a place to reduce the pressures of life. God has provided a way to focus on Him. We need a time and place to decompress spiritually, in other words, focus on what our Lord wants us to do. A personal devotional time can be a place where burdens are lifted. When we get to that time and place we can cast all our cares upon Him. By focusing on God’s sufficiency we can experience His peace. Do you have a time and place for spiritual decompression?

Those who wait upon the LORD

 shall renew their strength.
