He Took Them Up In His Arms,

Laid His Hands On Them,

And Blessed Them

Father of orphans and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation.

Psalm 68:5

People were bringing little children to him in order that he might touch them; and the disciples spoke sternly to them. But when Jesus saw this, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the little children come to me; do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs. Truly I tell you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will never enter it.” And he took them up in his arms, laid his hands on them, and blessed them.

Mark 10:13-16

Abuse, poverty, and neglect have turned the lives of millions into a nightmare. Whether it is little children, adults with mental illness, or our aging parents, we need to be there for them. What can we do? In Jesus’ name we can give of our time and our money. Our parents, widows, and orphans are all important to us. Find a way to give back to the community because God has given you Jesus as your own Savior.

Show people the love of God through your heart and your hands.
