The Sacred Writings
But as for you, continue in what you
have learned and firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it, and how
from childhood you have known the sacred writings that are able to instruct you
for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All scripture is inspired by God
and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in
righteousness, so that everyone who belongs to God may be proficient, equipped
for every good work.
Encouraging our children to be good
parents can begin when they are just toddlers. The best way is to start
equipping them with the Word of God while they are still young.
The Bible is our richest resource to
help us raise children who will know and love Jesus. Nothing is more essential
than “the Holy Scriptures” to equip them for all of life’s challenges.
The character
of our children tomorrow
depends on what we
put into their hearts today.
