The LORD Is My Shepherd

The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside stillwaters; he restores my soul. He leads me in right paths for his name's sake.

Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff - they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD my whole life long.

Psalm 23:1-6

God always leads us, even though we get off the trail, get behind Him, or try to get ahead of Him. God knows the way because He has prepared the way. But sometimes we may not see Him - so we do our best to go where He wants by following the guidance of His Word. At other times it may seem that He is hidden from us. His pace may not be as fast as we want, or sometimes we may even want Him to slow down. Just remember, in God's time. If you want God to lead you, be willing to follow.
