Seek The
Things
That Are Above
So if you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are
above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on
things that are above, not on things that are on earth, for you have died, and
your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life is
revealed, then you also will be revealed with him in glory.
Colossians 3:1-4
Remember where your citizenship really is. It is based on
loyalty, not location. Your citizenship is with Christ, not on earth.
It is important for us to be reminded that though we are living
on this side of heaven for now, our eternal home is the place where our loyalty
should lie. Set your life on things above, not things here on earth.
As you mind your earthly duties,
keep heaven in mind.
