At The Name Of Jesus
Every Knee Should Bend
Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not regard equality with God as something to be exploited, but emptied himself, taking the form of a slave, being born in human likeness. And being found in human form, he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death – even death on a cross. Therefore God also highly exalted him and gave him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bend, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
As Christians we constantly tell
others that the only way to heaven is through a belief in Jesus, and then the
question comes up of what will happen to those who believe otherwise? Just
remember Jesus is unmatched in history – His very being cries out for us to
entrust our lives to him. He alone is both God and man. No other leader’s life was foretold so clearly and accurately. Only Jesus was
born of a virgin. He came for the sole purpose of saving us from our sins. No
one but Jesus has the power to forgive sins. Jesus alone existed before the
beginning of time. No one else is equal to God. And only Jesus will reign
forever.
No one in history is like Jesus. He
alone deserves our trust, and He alone is the path to God.
Only one road
leads to heaven – Jesus Christ is the way.
