The Veil

Since, then, we have such a hope, we act with great boldness,
not like Moses, who put a veil over his face to keep the people of Israel from
gazing at the end of the glory that was being set aside. But their minds were

but when one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed. Now the Lord is the

God often works through suffering to bring us to maturity and
completeness. Sometimes He uses the painful results of our sins. At other
times, our difficulties may not be caused by a specific sin, yet we undergo the
painful process of learning to obey our Father’s will.
Are you hurting? Perhaps a shaping-up process is in progress.
Jesus was perfect, yet He had to learn obedience through the things He
suffered. If you keep on trusting Jesus, you will increasingly take on the
image of His loveliness.
The difficulties of life are to make us
better – not bitter.
