The Mystery

 Of Christ

Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with thanksgiving. At the same time pray for us as well that God will open to us a door for the word, that we may declare the mystery of Christ, for which I am in prison, so that I may reveal it clearly, as I should.

Conduct yourselves wisely toward outsiders, making the most of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer everyone.

Colossians 4:2-6

Words of encouragement can be “life words,” bringing new motivation to our lives. People can live a long time on just one compliment.

Christian encouragement, is more than just a compliment or a pat on the back. Christian encouragement can push us to be the best Christians we can be, even when life is throwing rocks at us.

Paul told us to be gracious in our speech. If we do that we can speak words of encouragement to Christians when they need it the most.

Correction may mold us,

 but encouragement will motivate us.
