I Will Rejoice

In The LORD

Though the fig tree does not blossom, and no fruit is on the vines; though the produce of the olive fails, and the fields yield no food; though the flock is cut off from the fold, and there is no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD; I will exult in the God of my salvation. GOD, the Lord, is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, and makes me tread upon the heights.

Habakkuk 3:17-19

We could become embittered and self-pitying in the face of a terminal disease, but our belief and hope in Jesus as our Savior allows us to truly have a grateful attitude. We are all blessed in so many ways, whether it is with our wives, husbands, children, caring friends, and our loving Savior.

We are blessed spiritually. We can hold the Word of God in our own hands and read it. We have the knowledge of His saving grace, the comfort of His Spirit and the joyful assurance of life everlasting with Jesus.

With unwanted burdens come undeserved blessings.
