And God Saw

 That It Was Good

And God said, "Let the waters bring forth swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the dome of the sky." So God created the great sea monsters and every living creature that moves, of every kind, with which the waters swarm, and every winged bird of every kind. And God saw that it was good. God blessed them, saying, "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth." And there was evening and there was morning, the fifth day.

And God said, "Let the earth bring forth living creatures of every kind: cattle, and creeping things and wild animals of the earth of every kind." And it was so. God made the wild animals of the earth of very kind, and the cattle of every kind, and everything that creeps upon the ground of every kind. And God saw that it was good.

Genesis 1:20-25

Have you ever taken an early morning walk or a walk at dusk with your dog? In the morning you hear the birds, and in the evening you hear crickets, June bugs, and frogs. You can also see sunrises and sunsets, and the way the sun hits flowers. You can smell the things around you. All of the things we see, hear, and smell were created by our Father, and all have a place in this magnificent world we live in.

Have you thanked God for your ability to take that walk with your dog, and to enjoy the ability to walk, to smell, to hear and to see?

Be thankful for the multitude of signs and sounds and colors and species that God created. Praise the LORD for His creativity in not just creating the world, but creating one that is so beautiful and good.

In nature

we hear the voice of God.
