The Word Of The LORD

Is Upright

Rejoice in the LORD, O you righteous. Praise befits the upright. Praise the LORD with the lyre; make melody to him with the harp of ten strings. Sing to him a new song; play skillfully on the strings, with loud shouts. For the word of the LORD is upright, and all his work is done in faithfulness. He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the steadfast love of the LORD.

Psalm 33:1-5

Have you ever listened to Christian music? It is uplifting because it focuses on God, not ourselves.

God places a new song in our hearts, a song that we hear from another world. It tells us that God loves us and always will, and that He has delivered us from the "power of darkness."

God has given us eternally useful things to do. Grace now and glory ahead! Isn't that a reason to sing? Next time you are down in the dumps, think about God's goodness. Tune in to the music of heaven and sing a new song with the angels. It may set your feet to dancing and cause great wonderment in those around you. It is even possible they will want to hear the music as well.

God's work in our life

puts a new song in our heart.
