Praise the LORD

Praise the LORD! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty firmament! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his surpassing greatness!

Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! Praise him with clanging cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals! Let everything that breathes praise the LORD! Praise the LORD!

Psalm 150:1-6

Psalm 150 tells us a lot. It tells us where to praise God, why we should praise God, how we are to praise God, and who should offer praise to God.

Be loud, be soft, and praise soothingly. Do it enthusiastically and boldly. Praise God unexpectedly and fearlessly. Do it in many ways and on many occasions.

Praise is our enthusiastic expression of gratitude to God for reigning in glory forever.

Praise is the overflow of a joyful heart.
