Little children, I am with you only a little longer. You will look for me; and as I said to the Jews so now I say to you, ‘Where I am going, you cannot come.’ I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.

Simon Peter said to him, "Lord, where are you going?" Jesus answered, "Where I am going, you cannot follow me now; but you will follow afterward."

John 13:33-36

The day Jesus told His disciples that He would be leaving them, Peter was filled with questions. Jesus didn’t explain when He would return, but He reassured His disciples that He was going to prepare a place for them and one day "come again."

When the Savior comes back, His return will command the attention of all earth’s inhabitants. It will be a headline event!

The LORD will come back to us,

but until then we have a job to do.

That job is to love one another.
