"…except that the Holy Spirit testifies to me in every city that imprisonment and persecutions are waiting for me. But I do not count my life of any value to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the good news of God's grace.

Acts 20:23-24

No matter what happens, do the job God has given you. On the day we are judged, there is no better place to be than doing the job God has given to us to do. Even though Paul faced severe hardship and opposition, he was determined to finish the race God had placed before him. We can do no less.

With soul-quieting confidence in our Lord, we are to remain steadfast in serving Him all our days.

To survive the storms of life,

be anchored to the Rock of Ages.
