The Word

Is Very Near

To You

Surely, this commandment that I am commanding you today is not too hard for you, nor is it too far away. It is not in heaven, that you should say, "Who will go up to heaven for us, and get it for us so that we may hear it and observe it?" Neither is it beyond the sea, that you should say, "Who will cross to the other side of the sea for us, and get it for us so that we may hear it and observe it?" No, the word is very near to you; it is in your mouth and in your heart for you to observe.

Deuteronomy 30:11-14

What we need to know about God and His will for us is clearly spelled out in Scripture. The words He spoke through Moses to His people are true for us today. His Words are not mysterious. There are no double meanings, no ways to interpret things. His Words are clear. He has provided Jesus has our Savior, and the Spirit to guide us.

The Bible is not a riddle. It is a revelation. It tells us all we need to know to be all that God wants us to be in every situation of life.

The Bible is as wise in what it leaves unsaid

as in what it says.
