Happy are those

who are concerned for the poor;

the LORD will help them

when they are in trouble.

The LORD will protect them

and preserve their lives;

he will make them happy in the land;

he will not abandon them

to the power of their enemies.

The LORD will help them when they are sick

and will restore them to health.

Psalm 41:1-3

There are many people around us who are poor - poor in spirit, poor in health, poor in money. We, ourselves, may not have lots of money to give, but we can give our time, our love, and our knowledge of God. We can let them know we are thinking of them.

Giving is the true measure of love.
