Your word is a lamp to guide me and a light for my path.

I will keep my solemn promise to obey your just instructions.

My sufferings, LORD, are terrible indeed; keep me alive, as you have promised.

Accept my prayer of thanks, O Lord, and teach me your commands.

I am always ready to risk my life; I have not forgotten your law.

Wicked men lay a trap for me, but I have not disobeyed your commands.

God has different thoughts than we do. We will never understand the depth at which God thinks. He shows us our weaknesses to teach us to rely on His strength. He allows us to fail so He can teach us that true success comes through His grace. If you are feeling helpless today remember that God's grace is available for those who recognize that they cannot help themselves.

Are you having a dry time? Read the Bible. Find a passage you like. Learn more about God. Take time with God on the scriptures you do not understand. Take a phrase with you. Live it. Tell the stories. You will be a blessing.

God helps those who know they are helpless.
