His Name Will Be On Their Foreheads

Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb through the middle of the street of the city. On either side of the river is the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, producing its fruit each month; and the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. Nothing accursed will be found there any more. But the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him; they will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. And there will be no more night; they need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever.

Revelation 22:1-5

Have you ever wondered what heaven will be like? Have you ever stopped to think that without Jesus as our personal Savior, we won’t see heaven? What if He had never been born? There would be no book of Revelation, because there would be no New Testament. And we would never know what we would be missing, eternally.

But we do have Jesus. We know we will serve. We will have minds and bodies equal to the task to which we will be assigned. We will see His face. We will be like Him. In heaven we will never again struggle with sin but will reflect the beauty of His holiness forever. We shall serve our King and be as He wants us to be.

Those who love and serve God on earth

will feel at home in heaven.
